If you're looking to make a homepage for yourself, you'll first need to find a server to upload your wondrous pages to. Your own internet provider probably has some web-space reserved just for you, but in case you don't have one of those, there are many free web site servers out there to choose from. Here's my small list to start you off with... :)

My favorite of them all!! They don't have banners, popups, or watermarks. Best of all they don't ask you to share your copyright!! |

They have unlimited web space available for almost everyone (no objectionable material, of course); CGI support is available upon request. They also support nested directories. They also have ftp, a free email account, an ftp-maintenance page, counter, cgi, guestbooks and other new cgi-scripts, These folks also do not ask for banners, popups or watermarks; Nor do they ask you to share your copyright!! |

They give out 3 megs of webspace, and have a webcounter available. :( -- No cgi or perl; A huge banner required on all pages. They're also currently filled to capacity. Keep an eye on this one tho, as they are working on their server problems! These people also do not ask to share your copyrighted materials. |

They offer 11 mb of free web space, as well as free web-based email. They have some great tutorials, and offer a sense of community, if you wish. The bad part is, they have an all-inclusive never-ending sublicense to your copyrighted materials. |

A nice place to build your site; They offer 5 mb of free webspace, and free web-based email. They also have some graphics and such stuff. |
